Leonardo handles the personal data of site visitors and of those who contact us with the same care it puts into building its pedestals: only what is needed, for as long as it is needed.
Data controller
The data controller is Leonardo S.r.l., with registered office at Piazza 4 Novembre 4, 20124 Milan (Italy), VAT 11407620969. For any matter relating to personal data you can write to info@leonardopedestal.com.
Data we collect
Data provided voluntarily. When you fill in the information request form we collect first name, last name, marina or company, email, phone number, country, city and any message. When you fill in the brochure download form we collect marina or company, name, email, country and city. If you write to us by email we process the data contained in the message. When you fill in the accessibility-problem report form we collect your name, email, the page concerned, the assistive technology you use and the description of the problem.
Browsing data. In their normal operation, the site's IT systems and software procedures acquire certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, access times.
Cookies and measurement tools. We use technical cookies and, with your consent, Google Analytics 4 (statistics) and Microsoft Clarity (session recording). Google Search Console sets no cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
We do not process special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) and the site is not intended for those under 16.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to information and call-back requests — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b) and consent given via the form's checkboxes (Art. 6.1.a).
- Enabling the download of technical documentation — legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a).
- Sending commercial communications, news and events — legal basis: optional consent, withdrawable at any time (Art. 6.1.a).
- Traffic measurement and site performance analysis — legal basis: consent given via the cookie banner (Art. 6.1.a).
- Site security and legal obligations — legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f) and legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c).
- Handling reports of accessibility problems and verifying the fix — legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in keeping the site usable by everyone (art. 6.1.f).
- Keeping a record of the consents you gave, so that they can be demonstrated (art. 7.1) — legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c).
Nature of the provision
Providing the data marked as mandatory in the forms is necessary to follow up on the request: without it we cannot contact you or make the documentation available. Consent to commercial communications is optional and refusing it does not affect the reply to your request.
Data recipients
Data is processed by authorised Leonardo S.r.l. staff and may be disclosed to parties acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR: hosting and email providers, sales contact management systems, consultants and professionals, and Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console) and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. (Microsoft Clarity). Data is not disseminated or sold to third parties for their own purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers, including Google and Microsoft, may also process data in the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decisions (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted under Art. 46 GDPR, accompanied by supplementary security measures.
Retention period
Data from information and download requests is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and, in the case of a business relationship, for its duration and the following ten years required by civil and tax obligations. Data processed for marketing purposes is kept until consent is withdrawn and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact. Data collected through cookies follows the durations stated in the Cookie Policy. Accessibility reports are kept for as long as needed to handle them and verify the fix. The record of your consents is kept for as long as we keep the data it refers to and, after a withdrawal, for as long as needed to demonstrate that the earlier processing was lawful.
Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest and withdrawal of consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Requests should be sent to info@leonardopedestal.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — garanteprivacy.it).
Security of processing
We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures under Art. 32 GDPR: encrypted transmission of pages and forms (HTTPS), access control, periodic backups and written instructions to authorised staff.
